Please read before purchasing. By using this website you are agreeing to the terms and conditions detailed below.
Please note: Some Look-in-the-Bag Ltd products include small components that could be swallowed. They should NOT therefore be given to children aged 6 AND UNDER.
These terms and conditions apply to all orders for the purchase of goods from Look-in-the-Bag Ltd. By placing an order you are indicating your acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
Price & Payment
All prices are correct at the time of entering the relevant information. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. This will not affect confirmed orders.
If an error has been made in displaying a price, we reserve the right not to sell at the erroneous price.
How your order will be processed
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email, with details of the items ordered and of the address to which you want them to be delivered. We normally ship 2-3 times a week. You will be informed when the order has been dispatched.
UK - £4.00 (except during promotional periods when it may be free.)
Europe - £6.00
Rest of the World - £7.00
All orders over £75 - Postage free.
UK - Postage within the UK is sent out second class. All packages are sent using Royal Mail’s Recorded Signed For™ service. This helps to ensure safe delivery and is traceable.
Rest of the World – Postage overseas will be sent by airmail. This is not traceable. If you would like it tracked please contact us and we can calculate delivery charges according to your requirements. Postal charges are subject to change without notice. This will not affect confirmed orders.

Rest of the World – Postage overseas will be sent by airmail. This is not traceable. If you would like it tracked please contact us and we can calculate delivery charges according to your requirements. Postal charges are subject to change without notice. This will not affect confirmed orders. Standard postage is free on orders of over £75.
Customs and excise charges incurred on exported packages are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns & Exchanges
Faulty goods – If items are found to be faulty on receipt, you MUST CONTACT US immediately. Replacements and refunds will not be considered more than 21 days after we have dispatched the order.
Our scarves are finished by small, independent tailors rather than in a factory. This can result in the edges being slightly wavy. This is not a fault. If you are not happy with your scarf however, we may consider a refund or replacement. See ‘Other returns’ below.
Other returns - If you are unhappy with your Look-in-the-Bag goods for any other reason, CONTACT US. We may consider a refund or replacement if the item(s) are returned to us in their original condition within 21 days of the order being dispatched. All item(s) will be inspected on return and any item(s) in an unsuitable condition will be sent back to you. If you ordered your goods as part of a promotion which included free shipping, the cost of shipping will be deducted from any refund.
Return shipping charges are the full responsibility of the customer (unless item is faulty.) If you fail to contact us before returning an item, your claim may not be processed.
As soon as your return has been processed we will email you to let you know. In the unlikely event that you don't receive an email within 10 days of posting your parcel to us, please get in touch at email@example.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you have returned your parcel using Recorded Delivery or another service that can be tracked, please give us the reference number when you contact us.
For hygiene purposes, we will NOT exchange or refund ‘Looks’ that contain earrings.
These conditions do not apply to custom orders. Because these are designed for a specific customer, all custom sales are final and deposit are not refundable.
